NHS dental care
We're an NHS practice with a waiting list — currently around 24 months, with priority given to children under 16. Once you're registered, charges follow the standard NHS bands.

Private appointments are usually available within 1–2 weeks. Our private fee guide is published and dated — no surprises. A £50 deposit secures your consultation.

1. Get in touch
Send the form on this page, message us on WhatsApp, or call the practice. We aim to come back to you within one working day.
2. We confirm what type of patient you'll be
NHS spaces have a waiting list (currently around 24 months, with priority for children under 16). Private patients are seen for a new-patient consultation within the next 1–2 weeks.
3. Pay your consultation deposit
A £35 deposit secures a check-up, £50 for a new-patient consultation, £75 for emergencies. The deposit is refundable as long as you give one full working day's notice.
4. Your first appointment
A 30–45 minute exam, basic in-house X-rays as needed (free with your consultation), and a fully-costed plan you can take home before you commit.
What to expect from us
- A written treatment plan with itemised fees before any work starts.
- Quiet, modern surgeries — composite and shade-matched porcelain are the defaults; we'll talk you through amalgam if it's the right choice for that tooth.
- Hygienist appointments paced for actual cleaning, not five-minute polishes.
- Sedation for anxious patients (£200 / 90 minutes) — no judgement, lots of patience.
- A consistent clinician where possible — most patients see the same dentist year after year.
A quick note on parking
Parking at the practice is limited — please respect our neighbours and don't block driveways. There's a free car park at the Brook Chapel on Boston Avenue, just round the corner. Please observe Chapel signs for when a service is taking place so you don't block processions.
